The heart of the ARD 2.7T GT Kit is a pair of ball bearing Garrett turbochargers. Capable of handling upwards of 650 wheel horsepower and over 35 psi, these turbochargers offer maximum durability and reliability. An efficient oil and water-cooled ball bearing design allows for rapid response and eliminates the vulnerable journal bearings found in K03/K04 Borg Warner turbochargers.

The ARD 2.7T GT Kit offers several Garrett turbocharger options to suit your power specifications. The following turbochargers are available: GT2554R, GT2560R, GT28RS, and GT2871R. A cast high-nickle, Ni-Resist turbine housing and Inconel turbine wheel makes these turbochargers bulletproof for extreme boost applications.

The ARD GT Tubular Manifolds feature thick-gauge schedule-10 T304 stainless steel tubing for superb physical properties, welding characteristics and resistance to corrosion. Constructed with masterful TIG welding and high precision tooling, ARD GT Tubular Manifolds are fabricated using machined jigs and fixtures to ensure each set meets engineering specifications.

After considerable research and development, ARD created a low-turbulence merge collector, allowing exhaust gases to flow into the turbine housing at tremendous velocities. In turn, turbocharger spool and response is maximized.

A solid manifold flange is machined flat, creating a leak-proof seal to the turbine housing. The V-Band flange enables a quick install of the TiAL V44 wastegates, while welded EGT bungs provide OEM fitment.

ARD 3 INCH GT DOWNPIPES

Exhaust gases flow through enormous three inch downpipes designed for use with TiAL V44 external wastegates. Fabricated with 304 stainless steel and meticulous TIG welding, the ARD GT downpipes are engineered with precision. The result is fast and responsive turbocharger spool up, low exhaust backpressure, and most importantly, a sonorous exhaust note to complete an exhilarating driving experience.

To guarantee a leak-free seal, the ARD GT Downpipes are flanged with V-Band. This allows for easy installation and maximum versatility.

TIAL V44 EXTERNAL WASTEGATES

The ARD 2.7T GT Kit delivers a massive volume of air to the 2.7T engine. The need for a properly matched wastegate configuration is critical to keeping up with the demands of the turbo system and extracting the ultimate performance.

After months of painstaking research and development, ARD has squeezed a pair of massive TiAL 44mm external wastegates into the tight confines of the 2.7T engine bay. The result is unparalleled boost stability and response.

The TiAL V44 wastegates offer great versatility, allowing the user to easily set boost pressure. The wastegate tubes are re-routed back into the downpipes to minimize sound and retain the V-Band assembly. This ensures all connections have a perfect air-tight seal.

ARD GT INLET PIPES

ARD GT Inlet Pipes are designed with high-quality aluminum and fabricated in-house with a state-of-the-art mandrel bender. This ensures each set is manufactured consistently. ARD GT Inlet Pipes fitment is O.E., with a slip-fit over the compressor housing.

To accommodate the huge volume of air demanded by Garrett Turbochargers, ARD GT Inlet Pipes have been developed with a much larger diameter than factory. Exceptional attention to detail contributes to the crisp throttle response of the ARD 2.7T GT Kit.

The ARD 2.7T GT Kit comes complete with fire-sleeved oil/coolant turbo lines and all the necessary gaskets/hardware for a bolt-on install.
